What clients say
Organizations that have completed the Fundability Audit.
The audit revealed exactly what our largest bilateral donor had flagged in their institutional assessment. We fixed those gaps in 90 days and secured the grant on our next application.
CEO — Conservation NGO, Kenya
We scored 58 the first time. Six months later, after implementing the action plan, we scored 79. Two new donors came onboard that same quarter.
Finance Director — Social Enterprise, Uganda
The donor matching alone was worth it. We found three foundations we'd never heard of that were a perfect fit — and one is now our largest funder.
Executive Director — Health NGO, Tanzania

📐
The Fundability Audit is a structured institutional assessment that evaluates your organization's readiness to attract, manage, and retain external funding. It goes beyond programs to examine the underlying systems, governance, and financial infrastructure that funders scrutinize before committing resources.
What is a Fundability Audit?

Most organizations lose funding not because their programs are weak, but because their institutions are not perceived as credible investment vehicles. Funders — whether bilateral donors, foundations, DFIs, or impact investors — conduct their own assessments before committing funds. The Fundability Audit helps you see your organization through a funder's eyes and address gaps proactively.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who should complete the Fundability Audit?
Any NGO, social enterprise, CBO, or conservation initiative seeking external funding. It is most valuable for organizations preparing for their first major institutional grant, moving to a new type of funder (e.g., from local to bilateral), or experiencing low success rates in fundraising.
How long does the assessment take?
The full assessment typically takes 2–4 hours to complete carefully. It can be done in multiple sessions. A facilitated version with a PSAG consultant takes 1–2 structured workshops.
Is my data confidential?
Yes. All data is treated with strict confidentiality. In institutional or consultant-led modes, your data is only shared with authorized users you designate. PSAG does not share individual assessment data without explicit consent.
Can I redo the assessment after making improvements?
Yes. The platform is designed for repeat assessments to track improvement over time. Premium users can compare scores across assessment cycles and generate trend reports.
How is the donor matching done?
The matching algorithm scores donors against your profile across six dimensions: sector alignment (35%), geographic eligibility (25%), readiness level fit (10%), grant size fit (10%), organization type fit (10%), and strategic priorities (10%).
